CYM.6 (2025-3)

This release consists of feature enhancements and hotfixes for bugs and issues reported by our clients over January and February of 2025.

Enhancements

  • [PEER REVEW REPORT] Manuscript Feed now holds more accurate logs when it comes to reviewers submitting their reports. Editors will now be able to see whether a reviewer has submitted their report in full or if they have saved a draft.

  • [PEER REVEW REPORT] A message is now showing to reviewers notifying them that their report has been submitted as a draft - in order to avoid potential errors where the user believes they have submitted their report in full.

  • [USER PROFILE] The Workplace, Job Type and Title fields have been taken out of the user profile screen to simplify and streamline data entry. When composing email notifications off email templates that include the signature variable at the bottom of the message, JAMS will now fall back on user first name and last name if the Signature field is empty on the user profile.

Bug Fixes

  • Issue which has been preventing layout and conversion comments from appearing in the chronological order and not showing name of editor that has posted them is now resolved.

  • Dropdown label in Author Management and Users search fields has now been corrected.
